This Privacy Policy describes how Molye LLC collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use Aris (aris.molye.cloud).

1. Data Controller

Molye LLC (United States) — [email protected] — is the data controller for the personal data collected through Aris.

2. Data We Collect

Account information

Username and hashed password — used for authentication only.
IP address — kept in server RAM logs only (max 7 days), not persisted to disk.

Conversations

Messages and prompts — stored in our database to provide the chat service. You can delete conversations via the Aris interface.
Feedback (👍/👎) — used to improve response quality.

Automatic extraction

Preferences — name, language, location, etc. extracted from your messages to personalize responses. You can request deletion at any time.

3. AI Processing

Your prompts are sent to OpenRouter (openrouter.ai) which routes them to AI models. OpenRouter acts as a data processor. Messages are not used for third-party model training. Conversations transit through our server and are processed in real time — they are not stored by OpenRouter beyond the API call.

4. Legal Basis

Contract: to provide the Aris service.
Legitimate interest: service security and improvement.
Consent: optional analytics cookies.

5. Data Retention

Account data: as long as your account is active. Deleted upon request.
Conversations: as long as your account is active. Deletable by you at any time.
Server logs (IPs): max 7 days, then purged automatically.

7. Data Hosting

Your data is hosted on servers operated by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in the United States.

8. Security

HTTPS encryption, bcrypt password hashing, JWT authentication, rate limiting, regular updates.

This policy may be updated. Changes will be posted here with a revised date.
